The Kentucky Sidecar, what a beautiful & tasty drink. Thank you for sharing the link. It was perfect to use the tangerine juice ice cubes I have in the freezer. Whenever I have citrus that is about to go over the hill, I juice it and made cubes. I store in glass jars in the freezer. Perfect for many recipes.
In Chico our farmers markets are bursting with Satsumas all winter, my last bag of the year was about to go bad, so now we have lots of tangerine juice ice cubes. I mixed all the other ingredients in a shaker (a bit less triple sec), added two cubes for each oz of tangerine juice called for, shook till the tangerine cubes melted - it was perfect. A reminder of winter flavors as we head into spring. Thanks again for the beautiful blog. Suzanne

Megan this was a lovely post. You are obviously needing some "you" time and it looks like you are being successful at that. What a beautiful weekend it looks like you are having!

Hi Christine--they're lemons from my mom's backyard. They're actually a super vibrant yellow. Doesn't come across as well in that photo.

And cheers to new beginnings (and homecomings...wow, London!) Valerie.

And thanks for popping in again Amy, El, and Denise. Hope you all had a great weekend!

What a beautiful collage of Spring and Fresh Starts... new beginnings... appreciating the beauty of what we already have. We were away in London for a little over a week. Left with the back yard piled high with snow and have returned to it completely melted. Spring is certainly in the air. I am inspired by everything I learned and saw while away and full of many new beginnings to get going on. Thank you for the little moment of renewal.
:)
